I chose Thyme Xeriscape Hostel specifically because of its proximity to the Pakprak Heritage Street, which I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hostel's shared lounge, garden, and beautiful garden views.

I recently stayed at Thyme Xeriscape for a few nights during my visit to Kanchanaburi. The single room was compact but well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a convenient ensuite bathroom. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. I also appreciated the complimentary coffee and water available throughout the day. The hotel's location near the train station, war cemetery, and various bars and restaurants made it easy to explore the area.

The room was super clean with fresh towels and free water every day. The beds were so comfy and the air con was a lifesaver in the hot weather. The staff were friendly and helped us with everything. Plus, it's in a great location near the bridge and museum!
More social activities for young people would make it even better.

The property had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a helpful staff and free WiFi. The cultural highlights, like the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, added a unique touch to my trip.
Oh, and let's not forget the "delightful" microwave in the common area. Nothing says luxury quite like reheating leftovers from yesterday, right?

Amazing quality hostel with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great customer service. The location was convenient, with key attractions within walking distance.
Some negative aspects of the stay included too much noise and lack of soundproofing in the rooms. the requirement to use a card to access the outside area resulted in inconvenience, as it caused all the electricity to turn off, interrupting movie watching.
